More to Know About the Florida Keys

The Florida Keys is a chain of islands on the surface of a coral reef that is approximately 120 miles long. As you travel along the Overseas Highway (U.S. Hwy 1), the islands form a gentle arc that begins about fifteen miles south of Miami, at the southeastern tip of the Florida peninsula, and extend southwest all the way to Key West (the last inhabited island), and on to the Dry Tortugas.
